Stuart Young has spent almost 30 years in the timber window and door industry, and has accumulated experience across a wide range of disciplines, ranging from administration and customer services (where he was responsible for the implementation of ISO9000 systems in a number of applications) to manufacturing (where he headed multi million pound turnover stand alone divisions, as part of a large group).

During that time he gained intimate knowledge of the industry and the products.  This included certification and regulatory requirements surrounding windows and doors, performance and sustainability criteria, and a down to earth no nonsense understanding of what makes windows and doors work, and why they sometimes don’t.

Stuart Young retired in 2001 and has since offered consultancy services, passing on his accumulated knowledge to the industry he knows so well.

But even with all that, Stuart is aware that circumstances sometimes arise where he does not have the answer.  In such cases he has the benefit of employing associates, who can, and do, fill those gaps with their own knowledge. 

Up to now there has been not one situation which has been beyond the accumulated knowledge of the small team available. This method of working has proved hugely successful, and has the added advantage that overheads are kept to a minimum, allowing Stuart’s rates to remain highly competitive.
