Stuart Young has spent almost 30 years in the timber window and door industry. During that time he gained intimate knowledge of the industry and the products, and a down to earth no nonsense understanding of why windows and doors work, and why, sometimes, they do not. 

He is one of only two external experts in the UK used by the British Woodworking Federation to provide them with independent assessments of members' windows and doors which are involved in contentious situations.  

Stuart is experienced in what is required in providing an independent assessment of timber windows and doors, and issuing informal or formal reports which can be used to achieve an amicable settlement.

Stuart Young's experience means that his authoritative, and truly independent, assessment reports will often lead to the resolution of a dispute without recourse to formal legal procedures.

In situations where the dispute has, however, reached the stage where a court is involved, often the court will insist on an independent opinion, or the appointment of an Expert Witness.
